The performing arts benefit young people throughout their development by instilling in them a sense of self-esteem, competence and belonging. We offer programs throughout the year that inspire members to express themselves, learn new skills and make new friends with similar interests.

Drama Club

Dance Company

The Boys & Girls Club Dance Company offers classes for anyone 18 years of age and under, including toddlers. Classes offered include: ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, acro and toddler. Solos, duos and trios are offered at the instructors discretion and auditions are required. All dancers receive a trophy at our annual dance recital. Fundraising opportunities are available throughout the year to help with costume expenses.

Competitive Dance

Our dance competition team competes and performs throughout New England. The dancers are also invited to perform at special Boys & Girls Club events and functions. Dancers are selected by our Cultural Enrichment Coordinator, Mallory Wray, to attend an audition for a spot on the competition team.
