Jeramy J. Hoar

2017 Youth of the Year Nominee

Jeramy J. Hoar has been a member of the Boys & Girls Club for 2 years now. Jeramy is currently a student at the Westfield Technical Academy, where he is enrolled in a college level geometry course and an active member of the school’s book club. He plans to attend the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to study Information technology following his 2019 graduation.

Serving as an officer in our teen leadership group, Keystone, Jeramy has dedicated more than 25 hours of volunteer service at both Club and community events such as our annual Veteran’s Breakfast and the Mayor’s Egg Hunt. Jeramy credits the Club with opening doors for him to both volunteer and employment opportunities, teaching him a new level of responsibility and helping to prepare him for the future.

As an advocate for youth rights, Jeramy’s hope for the future is to ensure that the needs of all children are met. When he is not working in our licensed childcare program, Kidz Klub, or volunteering his time in a variety of ways, Jeramy can be found mentoring younger Club members, encouraging them to strive for their academic best.
