Special Events
"In 2005 a group of non-profit youth serving agencies met to discuss programs for youth who have been in detention facilities. I listened to a gentlemen speak about a highly successful program based in Boston. As he was discussing their success rate he spotted the Boys & Girls Club logo on my jacket and stopped his presentation. He then turned to the audience and said, 'If you want to know where you can make a difference, see her after this presentation. Simply put, The Boys & Girls Club Saves Lives.'
