General Information

Membership is open to all greater Westfield youth between the ages of 7 and 18 years old.  Memberships expire on the last day of school in Westfield.  Membership dues are $35 for the school year.  To fill out an application form click here.

Program fees are kept minimal to encourage participation.  Financial assistance is available to eligible families.  Scholarships are available for children who otherwise could not afford membership dues.  If you know of a child in need who could benefit from being a Club member, please contact Kellie Brown at 413.562.2301.  For a copy of the Financial Assitance Application please click here.

After School Busing: Busing is offered from all local schools at a $3 daily fee.  A discounted rate for monthly busing is available.  A van picks up at the Westfield High School and the Vocational School.  For more information please click here.

 

Transportation Home: A daily afternoon run will be made to drop off members at the Park Square, Edgewood, Powder Mill Village Apartments, Meadow Street, Franklin Street Mart and Orange Street.  The van departs from the Club at approximately 5:30pm.

 

Late Fee: The Club has implemented a late fee of $5 for every 5 minutes after the schedule of closing time, no exceptions.  Closing times are subject to change and it is the parent's responsibility to pay attention to signs and notices regarding changes.

 

Lost & Found:  Parents are encouraged to print their child's name on all their belongings. Lost and found items are kept for a period of two weeks and any items not claimed are given to Goodwill. Staff members can not hold anything for a member of the Club.

 

Visitors: The Club welcomes any boy or girls age 7-18 for a one-day visitor's pass free of charge. Visitors are not allowed on any bus or van until they are a member of the club. Parent or guardian must drop them off and sign them in at the front desk.

 

Pay Phone: There is a public pay phone for members use while at the Club. Members MUST receive permission from the lobby supervisor in order to use the phone. Parents wishing to speak to their child are encouraged to call the pay phone 562-9735. Those members wishing to use the phone should bring the proper change. The Front Desk phone is not available except for emergencies.

 

Snack Bar: The Club offers each child a free nutritious snack and beverage on a daily basis.  Additional snacks, drinks and sandwiches may be purchased at a minimal cost during specific hours. Members are also permitted to bring their own snacks.

 

Club Member Rules and Regulations

  1. Treat others the way you would want to be treated.
  2. All members and visitors must check in at the front desk before participating in any activities. Members must have their membership cards with them on each visit. Due to the importance of learning the responsibility of using a form of I.D., members are held accountable when they forget their membership cards. Replacement cards are available at the cost of $2.00. Members who consistently forget their cards will lose program time.
  3. Gum chewing, physical contact amongst members and running in the building is not allowed.
  4. Caps, hats, bandanas and sunglasses are not to be worn in the Club.
  5. Any symbols, insignias, pictures, or clothing deemed inappropriate by the Staff will not be allowed. Appropriate language, behavior and dress are required at all times.
  6. Cell phones may be used in the lobby only. CD players and GAME BOYS or any other electronic device are the responsibility of the members. The Club will NOT be responsible for any lost or stolen equipment. Use of equipment is subject to staff discretion.
  7. If a child is suspended from school they are not allowed at the Club. A member must be attending school in order to attend the Club. All suspension and revocation of Club privileges must be determined by the Program Director.
