Healthy Habits is designed for youth ages 6 to 15 and aims to incorporate healthy living and active learning in every part of the Club experience. The program emphasizes good nutrition, regular physical activity and improving overall well-being.

SMART Moves is a prevention/education program that addresses problems such as drug and alcohol use and premature sexual activity. The program features engaging, interactive, small-group activities that increase participants' peer support, enhance their life skills, build their resiliency and strengthen their leadership skills.

SMART Girls is a small-group health, fitness, prevention/education and self-esteem enhancement program designed to meet the development needs of girls ages 13 to 17. Girls participate in hands on activities and go on field trips while building skills for eating right, staying physically fit, getting good health care and developing positive relationships with peers and adults. SMART Girls also incorporates a segment where the girls are placed into real life situations while given RealCare Babies, a computerized infant simulator that requires realistic care. This program, Realityworks, is a researched proven prevention program that helps young people realize first hand the consequences of teenage parenting.

Passport to Manhood promotes and teaches responsibility in boys ages 11 to 14 years old. The program concentrates on a specific aspect of manhood through highly interactive activities. Each participant receives his own "passport" to underscore the notion that he is on a personal journey of maturation and growth.

NetSmartz teaches Internet safety skills though engaging multimedia activities and offline interaction with Club professionals. Topics include personal safety, shopping safety and ethical use of the Internet.

GoGirlGo! is intended for girls ages 8 to 13 and combines physical activity with an educational intervention that focuses on reducing and preventing health-risk behaviors. The program, which in 2004 and 2006 received a Gold National Health Information Award, covers topics including family issues, emotions, bullying, nutrition, body image, smoking, diversity, alcohol and drugs.

Date SMART is intended for teens, 13 to 18 years old. The program helps a young person examine their feelings about dating and relationships and helps them build the skills they need to achieve healthy relationships free of violence and abuse. Through participation in Date SMART, Club members increase their ability to help friends and family members who may be experiencing dating, sexual or domestic violence. |
