2010 Golf Expo to Benefit Boys & Girls Club

On March 13th and 14th the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Westfield and Western Mass Golf will collaboratively host the 17th Annual Western New England Golf Expo, at the Club on 28 West Silver Street, Westfield, MA. King Ward Bus is the major sponsor of this event that is sure to delight both golf lovers and supporters of the Club alike. Proceeds from the Golf Expo will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Westfield's after school youth programs.
This two day event will begin at 9am on both days and close Saturday at 5:00pm and 4:00pm on Sunday. General admission can be purchased at the door for $10. Premium tickets for the event are now on sale on the Club's website, www.bgcwestfield.org, for a cost of $15 and include:
- A free round of Golf at Tekoa Country Club with the purchase of a cart. Good during the month of April and after October 1st through the end of the year (2010). The free round can be used on weekends.
- A free round of golf at Hickory Ridge Country Club. Offer good weekdays through May 15th 2010.
- A one year subscription to Golf Digest or Golf World.
- Admission to the Expo.
The premium ticket is valued at $100. There are a limited number of premium tickets available so order your tickets today!
The Expo will feature golf-related exhibits, displays, interactive features, and instructional seminars. Manufacturers are present with their latest offerings that people can test on the indoor driving range. Retailers offer great deals on merchandise and many exhibitors feature innovative wares that may not traditionally be sold in local pro shops. There are travel destinations, golf resorts and courses to help you plan your season. A live auction will take place throughout the days.
Businesses can purchase 8x10 booths at the Expo for $600. The following country clubs, golf courses and businesses have already registered to attend this celebration of golf event: Elmcrest Country Club, Tekoa Country Club, Hickory Ridge Golf Course, East Mountain Country Club, Pole Kat Golf, Shaker Farms, Golfing Magazine, King Ward, Crumpin Fox, and The Ranch Golf Club.
"This is a new fundraising venture the Club has organized in partnership with Western Mass Golf. Proceeds will be placed towards program and service expenses that over 350 youth members utilize each day in our facility," explained William Parks, executive director. "We're looking forward to the show and are expecting a large turnout."
