The Youth of the Year program recognizes service to the Club and community, academic performance and contributions to family and spiritual life. The Club selects a local Youth of the Year who competes to become the Massachusetts Youth of the Year. The winner then participates in regional and national Youth of the Year competitions where they have the opportunity to win scholarships and meet high-ranking public officials, including the President of the United States. In 2008, we had the honor of our very own club member, Darryll Roberts, being named Massachusetts State Youth of the Year! (make this last sentence a link to news article about Darryll winning.)
